My name is Hilary Jane ('Hils') Everitt and I am a freelance journalist and photographer based in Kent

But, as a quick taster, I have specialised in motoring, with a particular expertise in 4x4s, most recently as editor at large of 4x4 Magazine (www.4x4i.com) as well as skiing, adventure and travel. I have travelled all over the UK, Europe, Scandinavia and have covered features in North America (incl Alaska), South Korea, Namibia, Oman, Tanzania and Iceland, and visited Asia (Singapore, Malaysia), Australia and New Zealand.

As well as writing and taking pictures for prestigious magazines, I have presented features on ITV's motoring show 'Pulling Power' and as co-presenter of former 'TopGayer TV' online programme. I can also provide PR/press release services and am an excellent sub-editor.
